Tough Guy You might be able to kill him but it's going to take a lot of shots. Pocket full of bandages and some serious healing powers.
Tree Focus: Guts - Resistance

Well, accessorize with % chance/+1 health items. (I would choose those over any of the +health legend items, which only give to you when you consume, etc.). There's a hat which gives you +1 health when you rest. Whatever coat gives you the most health. (Or lower's opponent's accuracy, but I'm less in love with that feature right now.)
Field surgery.
Those seem like the no-brainer parts. After that, I would want items or skills that waste the opponent's time, either by causing bleed or daze. Every round your opponent has to spend resting or healing is a round you can recover.
Unmoveable. True Shot. Duck work to lower opponent's accuracy and make him spend rounds getting ready for another shot.
Pain Killer.
Ground shot goes without saying for this setup.
Against a 'hit hard and fast opponent' those boots that nullify 'to hit' bonuses. Maybe.
So: Rest: Hooey + Field Surgery. Dodge: Duck Work. Shoot: your choice. Cause bleed with bullets/gun/shot, though. Aim: True shot. Recover: Unmovable. Open slots: Pain Killer, Cower, Call Upon Grace.
Those are a few thoughts.

I got accessories that restore health and I am using gut shot with a walker for the bleeding.
